Q: My young son deleted all our holiday snaps from Spain, he pressed the format button, can you get all our photo's back?

A: Yes we can, please stop using the camera and send the memory card to us, we can recover photo's lost this way in 98% of cases! PS: If your camera has built in Memory and not a storage card, you would need to send the entire camera to us.

Q: I deleted a folder on my USB pen drive by mistake, it contained the ONLY copy of some important files. Can you help?

A: Yes we can recover deleted files from USB memory devices, please stop using the device straight away and send it to us. Also, please ensure you tell us about the files we need to recover, what type of files they were and the folder name if you remember it.

Q: I have a hard drive that I wish to recover some deleted files from, can you do this with hard drives?

Q: I have heard of software you can buy to recover lost files, how is your service better?

A: We use our own exclusive recovery software, hardware and specialist technicians to analize, repair and recover data, our success rates are considerably higher that the average solution. Using a software solution like this, before sending your device to us, could make file recovery more difficult. In all cases, stop using the device as soon as you notice the missing files!

Q: I have some very sensitive data that I need recovered and am concerned over privacy.

A: Memory Ferret are officialy registered and licenced in the European Union, we treat ALL of our customers data as highly sensitive and classified. When we return your files to you, we password lock them and send you the password to your email. We do not keep a copy of these files and never share any of our clients data with a 3rd party.

Q: I have a USB drive that is Physically damaged, I broke the connector, can you help?

A: It may be possible, please send the drive to us and we will attempt to make and internal connection to the memory chip, in order to rescue the contents. The only problem with physical recue, is that we may need to destroy the device completely in order to attempt rescue of the data and this service is not guaranteed... As always, we will do our very best !

Q: So do you Guarantee to save my data?

A: Memory Ferret offer the most advanced data recovery solutions possible, We think you have a lot more chance of success with us that any other data recovery service or software. However, we do not offer a Guarantee as in some cases data will not be recoverable, we will always do our very best!

Q: I want to recover deleted files and internet history from the computer my ex husband used, can you find this type of information?

A: Yes we can often recover internet history information, deleted files and other computer data that was deleted or formatted. However, we can only restore this information on devices OWNED by you, or that have full permission of the official user!

Q: I have hear there is software available to recover files myself, what makes your data recovery service any better?

A: Yes there is! There is some pretty good data recovery software available, that is easy to use and quite effective. You will even find links and information to this type of file recovery software on this site!.. see here

Although the software is reasonably effective, it cannot match our professional software and hardware package, plus, the expert knowledge of our staff! If your data is not all that important and you want to "have a go" at data recovery yourself, then the "mainstream software" available, is a good option.  If your data is important, or means a lot to you, then you are far better letting us try first !

Q: Are you located in the UK or Europe?

A: We are located in Spain, on the Costa del Sol (Malaga) and are registered/licenced in the EU, we service all of Europe and the UK by postal and courier service. The service takes about the same time, no matter where you are in the EU, normally 5-8 working days.
